Wrongful Death

Wrongful death claims occur in a number of settings, from medical malpractice matters to death stemming from drunk-driving automobile accidents.  Generally, a wrongful death claim arises when a person is killed as the result of the negligent or other bad conduct of another.  In this unfortunate situation, certain surviving family members are entitled to monetary damages in a claim against the wrongdoers for the wrongful death of the family’s loved one.  In these cases, insurance companies will move quickly in an effort to minimize any payments.  Knowing how the insurers operate, we will work quickly to interview witnesses, collect evidence and hire experts to offer opinions on a variety of issues to preserve the family’s wrongful death claim.  We know these tasks are distressing when the family is grieving from the loss of a loved one.  In our role as advocate, we will respect the family’s feelings in the face of your loss while at the same time diligently perform the tasks necessary to protect a wrongful death recovery.  For further information about how we can move your family forward during this difficult time, please contact us.  We never charge for an initial consultation and only receive attorney’s fees if you receive a monetary recovery.
