Appeals
Lawsuits begin in district court before a judge or jury. At the trial court level, legal decisions are made and those decisions are then subject to correction at the court of appeals. Appeals are complex and involve issues concerning standard of review, motions, formal appellate briefs and oral argument before a panel of appellate judges. Appellate decisions may, in turn, be the subject of further appeal. We understand the appellate process and can assist you with all of your appeal needs.
